Contrary to the empty platitudes in many privacy policies, your privacy actually is very important to us. We don’t like spam, we don’t enjoy having our private email addresses that we give out for one purpose abused for another purpose. Therefore we have adopted a Golden Rule privacy policy: We treat you as we would want to be treated. We keep all customer information strictly confidential, which means that to the extent you provide us with an email address or other personally identifying information, we won’t use it for any purpose other than the purpose for which you contacted us:

  • If you ordered something, we’ll use it only to fill that order and maintain the highest level of customer service.

  • If you join our mailing list, we will send you occasional emails regarding upgrades, our products, or simply things we find interesting and relevant. The only way to join our mailing list is to enter your email into the mailing list box at the top of our website or to specify that you want to be added to the list during checkout.   • Any information (name and email address) you provide to us as part of the “tell a friend” program will be used only for a one-time contact with that person.

We never sell, reuse, rent, loan, or otherwise disclose to any outside party the information you have given us.

We use the standard web site information tracking: we use cookies, log IP addresses, and gather usage and site hit statistics, none of which we use for any purpose other than analyzing our site traffic.

We will not permit that policy to be changed in the unlikely event our company is purchased. In the extremely unlikely event that access to our records is compelled by legal process, we will resist disclosure using whatever legal grounds are available to us.
