I seem to be tethered to my computer if I want to use Audiostrobe. The mp3 recordings of sessions don't seem to contain the signal necessary to trigger the Audiostrobe. Any suggestions about making a recording that I can use away from my computer with the Audiostrobe?

Its most likely the BIT RATE you're using in the mp3 export. I use a bit rate of 320 and audiostrobe works.
To set your default bit-rate:
- on the Menu select Settings
- select Program Settings from the drop-down
- select Export Options
