How does the affiliate program work?
- Once you have been approved as an affiliate, you will have access to the affiliates area where you can generate links, banners and view commissions.
- You drive internet traffic to us through special links that allow us to track sales. To track sales, we create a cookie for each user that enters our site through yours.
- If the user purchases something from our site, a large percentage of that purchase will be sent to you.
- We send monthly payments to affiliates.

What are the requirements to become an affiliate?
You must have a website on which to promote our products and link to us. An application that does not include a web site address may not be accepted.
If you are new to affiliate marketing and would like to get started with Transparent Corporation, let us know that in your application. Give us a description of the website you hope to build to promote our products, and if possible, provide links to other websites or blogs you own, even if they are unrelated.

What products can affiliates promote?
Affiliates can receive commission on our software and audio products, such as the Neuro-Programmer, Mind WorkStation, Mind Stereo, Thought Sounds or Beyond Being. Affiliates can also receive commission on sales of subscriptions to the TCN Program, and on bundles or special offers.

What are the rules and abuse policies of the program?
Promotions on newsletters and mailing lists are only allowed if the the newsletter or list is generated exclusively from your own site.
Due to our desire to prevent affiliate accounts to be used for spamming, we cannot allow affiliates to post their links on social networking sites, public newsletters, public mailing lists, forums or anything else that could be perceived as spam. Spam will have the opposite of the intended effect of the affiliate program, and will just generate a negative reputation for us and our affiliate partners.
However, we place no restrictions on your ability to advertise or post links to your own website/blog anywhere that you deem appropriate. Additionally, If you are having trouble drawing visitors to your website, we will be happy to provide resources for legitimate traffic building.
If you plan on running a PPC campaign (on Adwords, for example), contact us first to make sure neither us or other affiliates are currently advertising on the keywords you want to target. If campaigns overlap, it will mean higher per-click prices for everyone, so it is best to coordinate our campaigns together.

What is the commission rate structure?
The commission rate structure is designed to increase the commission percentage as sales increase.
Commission percentages will be increased based on the affiliate sales volume of the current year. It will be calculated from January 1st of the current year.
Less than 10 30% Greater than 10 40% Greater than 20 50% The 40% commission rate will be applied to the 11th commission. The 50% commission rate will be applied to the 21st commission.
Is there a minimum amount affiliates must earn to receive a payment (AKA payment threshold)?
Generally, we don't actually withhold payment under any circumstance. Since we pay exclusively via PayPal, there is little reason to do so. However, in our affiliate agreement we reserve the right to withhold payment until it reaches a minimum of $25.
Are there 2nd tier commissions?
Yes! You will receive 5% on all purchases generated by the affiliate (5% of the total profit, not just 5% of the affiliate's commission).
How are 2nd tier affiliates set up?
Automatically! If you send a user to our site and the user becomes an affiliate, your affiliate ID will automatically be associated with that user.
How are commissions calculated?
Commission fees are based on a percentage of the "profit" garnered from a sale. Profit meaning the total after royalties (if applicable) and processing charges are removed.

How do you ensure that affiliates do not lose sales (aka leak prevention)?
We do not take any orders by telephone or live-chat, which means that there is no alternative way that a customer could make a purchase through us and deprive you of a commission. Additionally, we carry no advertisements on any portion of our website, therefore minimizing the possibility that customers you send to our site will be "leaked" and leave the page.
Payment Frequency / When are affiliates paid?
Affiliates are paid monthly. Commission payments are typically sent out within a week of the end of each month.
Affiliates are paid exclusively through PayPal. We have found this to be the most efficient method.
What marketing tools or resources do we offer to affiliates?
We have a link generator, banners, buttons, images and a solid system for statistics tracking.
Additionally, you will have a dedicated Affiliate Program Manager who can answer questions, and provide consulting or review for copy writing, SEO, etc. Once approved as an affiliate, log in and you will find the email of your manager.
How can I request a coupon promotion for my site?
Contact your Affiliate Program Manager and we will create a promotional coupon for your site. We can only offer limited coupons to affiliates, such as time-limited coupons (only valid for so many days) or customer-limited coupons (only valid for so many customers).
Additionally, our Link Generator allows you to embed the coupon code directly into the URL, to simplify the process and also to ensure that you get commission on the sale.
How are affiliate links created?
Affiliates links can easily be generated using a Link Generator tool available in the affiliates area, which you will have access to after acceptance of the affiliate application. This tool makes it easy to create links to specific products and/or using specific banners.
It is also very easy to create custom affiliate links, either through the Link Generator tool or by simply adding a little text to the end of any URL on our site.
Additionally, our Link Generator allows you to embed the coupon code directly into the URL, to simplify the process and also to ensure that you get commission on the sale. Contact your Affiliate Program Manager to get a coupon code for your customers.

How long does the affiliate cookie last?
Affiliate cookies for potential customers last 120 days.
What statistics does the affiliate area offer?
Affiliates can search and download the history of clicks and commissions, on a web page form or as a CSV file (Excel compatible).
Statistics include the referring pages, products purchased, commission rates, dates of each click/commission, refunds and more.
